Events DC, the official convention and sports authority for D.C., announced in a press release that the historic Carnegie Library at Mt. Vernon Square will reopen January 17. Since September, the library has been closed due to mold.
After environmental testing, Washington, D.C.’s convention and sports authority, Events DC, found mold in two areas of Carnegie Library at Mt. Vernon Square. On a temporary basis, Events DC closed the library in order to rectify the areas.
