Shortly after Giuseppe Cecchi oversaw the construction of the Watergate, he started his own company, IDI. This year, the company began two projects in Fairfax County, Virginia for the first time, which include The Enclave.
About 16 miles away from Washington, D.C., Fairfax is making efforts to grow into a bustling area. In the next few years, new retail and residential developments are expected to pop up with projects like Mayfair and Scout on the Circle.
In the D.C. area, locals will soon be able to get a glimpse of Stonehenge. Not the kind in Wiltshire, England. Instead, a life-size version made out of styrofoam. The replica has been a tourist attraction in Natural Bridge, Virginia since 2004.
The first phase of the project has already begun with a delivery slated for April 2017. This phase involves the construction of a complex, called Liberty Crest, that will house 165 apartments, 83 townhomes and 24 single-family homes.
