In order to make room for a new 22-story apartment building in Ballston, a popular bar, called Carpool, is slated to close in the next few months. The sale of the bar closed on Friday. The bar will remain open through "at least the end of November"
This Tuesday, demolition began on portions of the Ballston Common Mall. The demolition began on the corner of Wilson Boulevard and N. Randolph Street with plans to make way for Ballston Quarter, developed by mall owner Forest City.
