Welcome to a semi-regular feature, Price Points, in which we pick a relatively low asking price and a type of home, then scour Redfin to find the best available options around the city. Today's task: listings asking less than $600,000.
What is the best Washington, D.C. house with a typical D.C. price? The median sale price in Washington, D.C. is just under $550,000, according to Zillow, so with that number Curbed was able to compile 10 listings currently on the market that offer the most desirable features. Expect high-end stainless steel appliances, floor-to-ceiling windows, and close locations to Metro stations. You should also unfortunately expect some fairly pricey HOA dues.
If there is a certain price point you would like Curbed to explore, be sure to either leave a comment or email dc@curbed.com.
