State of the Union 2018: Where to watch in D.C.

See which locations in the nation’s capital are offering screening parties

View as Map

It’s that time of the year again, time to watch the State of the Union (SOTU) on January 30. This will be President Donald Trump’s first SOTU, though he made an address before Congress just after his inauguration. This year’s address will begin at 9 p.m. EST.

While there are certainly ways to watch the address online, sometimes it’s better to experience political events in a group setting to be able to meet others and discuss similar and dissimilar opinions. For those in Washington, D.C., Curbed DC has rounded up a list of bars and restaurants that have made event pages stating that they will stream the address.

See any locations that were left off? Let Curbed DC know in the comments or email the tipline.

Stuck at home? Check out the livestream below at 9 p.m. EST.
