Mapping Hot Properties Near Dupont's Sign of the Whale

View as Map

Welcome to Bar Crawl Living where we find some worthy domiciles within stumbling distance of a neighborhood hotspot. If there's a place you want us to scope out, leave a comment or send word to our tipline.

Just in time for the end of Whale Week, this week's BCL hits up a fratty, bro bar with the perfect name: Sign of the Whale. On the cusp between Dupont and GWU, what may be one of the city's douchiest watering holes attracts the younger set who want a cheap brew and a bangin' burger. And the nabe around the bar has that same vibe (minus the "cheap" part). The area on it's south side is filled with the (ahem) younger demographic who are looking for a bit of play activities after hitting the books. But everywhere else, it's the older, more professional crowd who are putting down roots. But as our map shows, there are pads for everyone in the vicinity. Cheers!
