There's a new men's yoga group in town that practices sans clothes and borrows studio space so they can workout as a group. That made us wonder about some of the other very specialized exercise niches in the city and naturally that led to making a map. These fitness studios are more than just a set of treadmills and a few free weights; they cover the gamut—from bare bones bodybuilding to getting busy on the stripper pole. Maybe the nude yogis should ask to borrow studio space from some of them?

Get Fit In More Ways Than Just Hopping On The Local Elliptical

B.fit
Keeping Loganites fit is no easy task. Making sure Loganites are limber is even more of a challenge. Fortuntely, b.fit is doing just that by incorporating ballet-barre and Pilates into a complete workout. And it's conveniently near Churchkey for drinking and a myriad of 14th St developments.
Studio F3
Kettlebells, the ball-shaped weights, are often an afterthought when getting fit. And Duponters have discovered the secret of the kettles when Studio F3 near the circle. Surrounded by yoga studios, this is an option for a manlier workout.
Epic Yoga DC
It'll be hard to avoid the overuse of "epic" when describing this spot. Taking yoga to another level (OK, many levels), this is for someone discovering his or her inner yogi. Clients will be pushed, legit.
Biker Barre
Can't decide between spinning and ballet barre? Close to The P Spot and its exotic exercises, Biker Barre lets you not make that Sophie's choice and have both. Work up a sweat on the bikes. Then become even more limber on the ballet barre.
Primal Fitness
Man, the testosterone here is powerful. Yes! This workout studio focuses everything primal and manly. Parkour? Check. Strongman? Double check. Primal Barbell Club? Triple check. But on the softer side is something for the kids, as in kids gymnastics.
DC COMBAT LABS
This is not a place for white lab coats. This is place to learn how to kick ass. With self-defense, MMA (that's mixed martial arts), wrestling, and more, there are plenty of opportunities to make sure you're not the one losing the next fight with your buds over the Xbox controls.
The P Spot
No collection of niche workout spots would be complete without a place to "put it on the pole". The P Spot is billed as the "first exotic fitness studio in DC", and you can dance on that pole like it's your job. But there are option to look "Hot in Heels" or finally get that "Bedroom Body".
Naked Men's Yoga
No, naked yoga for dudes ain't happening in bushes at Meridian Hill Park. There are several spots in the DMV where guys can bend over in the company of like-minded men and work on their flexibility. But if you want the full scoop, you need to join the Yahoo! group for all the deets.
Trapeze School of New York, Washington D.C.
Fitness is way more fun when your feet aren't on the ground. There are regular trapeze classes plus sessions in even more unusual events, like 'silks' where you wrap silk fabric around your body and do artsy moves. Too much clothing for naked yoga?
