15 Starter Homes With Parking In Hot or Up And Coming Nabes

Finding that first home is tough, especially now since there are so few houses on the market. But we dug deep into the listings and mapped over a dozen homes that range from $260,000 to $515,000 with at least one off-street parking space. Yes, a few of them have problems, but that's why they're called starter homes. We looked in some of the most desirable neighborhoods in the city plus a few of the places that are rising in popularity and found the real estate adage about location is alive and well. A starter price in one neighborhood is nothing but wishful thinking in another.

The Palisades is one of the best neighborhoods to name drop so that's why we were shocked to find this $259,500 1 bed, 1 bath with deeded parking space. Condo fees are only $298/mo and it is 536 square feet.

The fees are a little steep—listed at $459 per month but it also mentions parking is $185 per month, however it doesn't indicate if that is included in the monthly fees. So factor that in to the mortgage calculations.
