Bike To Work Day Stops That Will Open For The Ride Home

View as Map

One cannot imagine that this has been a terribly successful Bike To Work Day considering that the District was under flash flood warning until a few minutes ago and most of the city heard those tell tale sirens on their phones as early as 7:00 a.m. Plus, anyone dedicated enough to the cause to bike to work today through the torrential downpour probably deserves more than a free t-shirt. That said, this afternoon, the region will look less like the set of a blockbuster disaster film and there are a couple of pit stops opening as early as 4:00 p.m. So, here's a map of those Bike From Work spots since riding in the sunlight is often a preferable experience. Just remember, the free t-shirt can only be picked up at the station at which you registered in advance.

The folks in Herndon may be the ones most dedicated to this celebration. Not only were they out there this morning at 5:30 a.m., but they'll be back again from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. this evening in the same spot. Also, you're welcome whether you registered to pick up swag at this spot or not. Photo by Kat Walsh.
