This two-bedroom-plus-den, two-bathroom semi-detached house in Brookland is renting for $2,800 a month. The house has been updated and boasts hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen features blue and patterned tile, while the lower level includes a family room. There is a front porch and a rear deck as well as a deep, fenced backyard. The home comes with a washer/dryer unit and is also located less than a mile from the neighborhood’s Metro station.

Polinger Company

Two-bedroom, two-bathroom units at the 4000 Massachusetts Avenue NW Apartments in Cathedral Heights are available to rent starting at $2,800 a month. The units include about 1,200 square feet of space and feature parquet floors. They have large windows and get lots of natural light. The building, which is situated a few blocks west of restaurants, stores, and the National Cathedral on Wisconsin Avenue, has an outdoor swimming pool and a garage.

Akelius Real Estate Management LLC

At the Century Apartments in Columbia Heights, a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment is renting for $2,700 a month. The building was recently renovated and the units come with new appliances and finishes. It is located on 16th Street NW, just steps from Metrobus lines and about a 10-minute walk from the neighborhood’s Metro stop. Meridan Hill Park is down the block and restaurants on the 14th and 18th streets NW corridors are in walking distance.


This two-bedroom, one-bathroom condo unit in Columbia Heights is rentable for $2,700 a month. Both bedrooms include walk-in closets with built-in organizers. There are hardwood floors throughout, plus tile in the bathroom and the kitchen, which features stainless steel appliances. The condo is situated two blocks south of the Columbia Heights Metro station and in walking distance of restaurants on 14th and 11th streets NW and in Adams Morgan.

Atlas Lane

In Southwest, this 1,100-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo unit is renting for $2,750 a month. Utilities are included, and the unit is spread across two floors. The kitchen and bathrooms been refurbished, and there are two balconies. The building, which boasts a gym and a swimming pool, is a few blocks east of the Wharf development and under a five-minute walk from the Waterfront Metro stop. Nationals Park and Audi Field are also nearby.
