At the Coda on H building on H Street NE, a more than 400-square-foot studio is renting for $2,092 a month. The finishes are modern and the sleeping and closet space are partitioned off from the rest of the living space. The apartment includes a small balcony overlooking H Street NW, stainless steel appliances, and a sizable bathroom. The building also has several common areas, a party room, bike storage, and a fitness center. Restaurants are steps away.

Zillow

This one-bedroom apartment in Northeast’s Brookland neighborhood is available to rent for $2,000 a month. The kitchen has been updated and includes significant cabinet space. The apartment is located within walking distance of stores and eateries on Rhode Island Avenue NE as well as on 12th Street NE. The Brookland Metro stop is about a 20-minute walk away. Also nearby: the Woodridge Public Library, Chuck Brown Memorial Park, and Langdon Park.

Zac Mathews

In Southwest, this more than 600-square-foot junior one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit at the Potomac Place Tower community is rentable for $1,950 a month. There are hardwood floors throughout and custom cabinets in the living space. The unit comes with a 42-inch mounted TV and utilities are included with the rent. The building has a 24-hour concierge, an outdoor pool, and three fitness rooms in addition to laundry in the basement, shared WiFi, and bike storage. It is one block from the Waterfront Metro station and off-street parking is available.

A studio at the Yale West building at 443 New York Avenue NW is currently available to rent for $2,085 a month. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and lots of cabinets. The unit also includes a small outdoor balcony. The building, located near restaurants and stores in Mount Vernon Triangle, Shaw, and Chinatown, comes with an outdoor pool, dog grounds, bike storage, a fitness center, and lounge areas. Additionally, the studio has a walk-in closet.

Zillow

A pet-friendly one-bedroom condo unit in Mount Pleasant is rentable for $1,990 a month. It features hardwood floors throughout and is located within walking distance of bus routes on 16th Street NW, the Columbia Heights Metro stop, Rock Creek Park, and the Mount Pleasant Library. Laundry, available on the same floor as the unit, and water are included in the rent.
