The spacious living room walks out to a private patio and garden through sliding glass doors. The building is situated within walking distance of both the Federal Center SW and Waterfront Metro stations. Also nearby are the National Mall, Nats Park, and the Wharf.
This nearly 1,600-square-foot four-bedroom house in Historic Anacostia features a sunroom, hardwood floors, a washer/dyer unit, a backyard, and a deck. It has a finished basement and a private garage in the rear. The house is situated only a couple of blocks from the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site, which sits on a 50-foot hill and provides unique views of the National Mall. The home is 15 minutes on foot from the Anacostia Metro. $2,600 per month.
At roughly 1,100 square feet, this two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo in Northeast, off North Capitol Street, is renting for $2,600 a month. The condo has been renovated, including the kitchen, and the community is gated. It is close to Catholic University and the Washington Hospital Center. The unit comes with a washer/dryer in addition to a private outdoor patio.
