A full-size replica of Air Force One is expected to arrive at National Harbor in Prince George’s County on Oct. 1 and and be open for public tours from Oct. 19 through the end of 2018.
The 747 model of the presidential plane is scheduled to arrive at 701 National Harbor Boulevard, next to Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, by barge from Rhode Island on Monday, October 1, between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Billed as the Air Force One Experience, the 90-minute tours starting 18 days later—which are part of an initiative called the Children’s Democracy Project—will cost $30 per adult, $15 for children ages 3 to 12, and $20 for seniors. No photos, please.
