Watergate apartment with Potomac views drops for $4.3M

Is it ‘the finest residence ever offered’ at the legendary complex? Take a look.

The Sotheby’s International Realty listing for Unit 502 at the Watergate in Northwest Washington bills it as “possibly the finest residence ever offered” at the (in)famous complex.

We can’t speak to that, but the 3,400-square-foot spread is certainly impressive in scope. There is that square-footage for one thing; and then there are the four full bathrooms and the potential for four bedrooms.

The layout is open, airy, and very contemporary, a product of a renovation that Robert M. Gurney oversaw. And Unit 502 comes with approximately 1,000 square feet of terrace overlooking the Potomac River and the Key Bridge. What’d you think?
