Some of D.C.’s first micro-units are ready for move-ins: high-end apartment building The Belgard just opened its doors this month in NoMa. Located at 33 N Street NE, the building includes 346 residences spanning micro-units (clocking in at 374-386 square feet), junior one bedrooms, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms. The apartments are decked out with keyless entries, floor-to-ceiling windows, cast-iron bathtubs, washers and dryers, and chrome fixtures.

The Belgard went all out with amenities too: there’s a rooftop infinity edge saltwater pool with private cabanas and grilling stations. Common areas are decorated with art and a 561-gallon exotic saltwater aquarium, while residents can entertain in a “speakeasy” space, a library, or a game room with arcade, poker and shuffleboard tables. There’s a pet spa too, with grooming and dog walking services.

Rents start at $1,770 for that 386-square-foot micro unit, and a 1,060-square-foot two-bedroom starts at $3,520. Take a look at the common spaces and apartments below:
