“A water hose in the sky.” That’s the ominous description that the Washington Post’s Capital Weather Gang uses for this week’s forecast, predicting that some of the heaviest rain is still yet to fall even after this weekend’s very wet weather. This could be the wettest July ever in D.C., and there’s a flood watch through Wednesday as these bursts of heavy rain are expected to continue falling.
