Not everyone living in NoMa’s sleek new 100K Apartments will be on a long-term lease: a portion of the units will go to an innovative startup called WhyHotel, the Washington Business Journal reports.
WhyHotel breaks it down on the company’s website: “When a high rise building delivers it has hundreds of vacant units. We put them to work.” Travelers get to feel like locals while enjoying a residential building’s amenities, while the buildings fill space until a longer-term tenants is found. WhyHotel will rent out units in 100K Apartments from October through the spring of next year. The building is currently leasing for September move-ins for residents.
