There’s no relief in sight from 90-degree days in Washington, D.C — at least for awhile. The Capital Weather Gang is predicting that a new heat wave is beginning today, and could last for nine days straight. The humidity is going to be intense too, according to the Post, with heat indexes of 100 to 105.
If these temps continue, it could match records in the area. Stay hydrated, everyone!
We can compare the extreme Northeast heat expected 1-2 July to record heat from the recent past.
