A current Orioles player bought Cal Ripken Jr.’s house with full-size baseball diamond

Outfielder Adam Jones paid $3.465 million for the Maryland estate

Looks like that baseball diamond is going to go to use: the Washington Business Journal revealed the new owner of Orioles star Cal Ripken Jr.’s incredible Maryland estate complete with batting cage and baseball diamond, and it’s Orioles outfielder Adam Jones. Makes sense!

The home sold at auction to Jones for $3.465 million. In 2016, the 8,545-square-foot mansion a baseball-themed home theater originally listed for $12.5 million, and it was reduced last year to $9.75 million.
