Ready or not, hot and humid temperatures are here in D.C. The Capital Weather Gang reports that Washingtonians should expect to soldier through the hottest weather of 2018 so far today and tomorrow, with highs of up to 98 degrees. There’s a code orange air quality alert today — and a chance that Monday’s muggy heat could be record-breaking.
Storms and showers are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, so luckily, things could cool down to more normal highs in the mid-80s.
