Here’s what’s proposed for one of the last undeveloped parcels at Waterfront Station

PN Hoffman wants to build an 11-story building at  1000 Fourth St. SW

Rendering: Torti Gallas Urban

Developer PN Hoffman just filed plans with D.C.’s Zoning Commission to build out 1000 Fourth St. SW, the Washington Business Journal reports, and that proposal includes an 11-story mixed-use building.

This is one of the last undeveloped parcels within Waterfront Station, and PN Hoffman hopes to begin construction in 2020 for a 2022 completion date. The mixed-use building designed by Torti Gallas Urban is slated to include 456 apartments including 137 affordable housing units, ground-floor retail, a daycare center, and a 9,000-square-foot theatre. Forum Theatre was originally linked to the project, but the company just announced last week that this summer season will be its last.
