Developer PN Hoffman just filed plans with D.C.’s Zoning Commission to build out 1000 Fourth St. SW, the Washington Business Journal reports, and that proposal includes an 11-story mixed-use building.
This is one of the last undeveloped parcels within Waterfront Station, and PN Hoffman hopes to begin construction in 2020 for a 2022 completion date. The mixed-use building designed by Torti Gallas Urban is slated to include 456 apartments including 137 affordable housing units, ground-floor retail, a daycare center, and a 9,000-square-foot theatre. Forum Theatre was originally linked to the project, but the company just announced last week that this summer season will be its last.
