Check out The Parks at Walter Reed’s first two residential buildings

The redevelopment of the 66 acres within the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center campus is taking shape. It’s a joint project of Hines, Urban Atlantic and Triden Development Group, and the Washington Business Journal reports that there are new renderings of the first two residential buildings at the The Parks at Walter Reed.

Named The Brooks and The Vale, the two buildings on the corner of Georgia Avenue and Aspen Street are slated to open in 2020 with 390 multifamily units and 18,000 square feet of retail.

The mixed-use project will include 20 acres of open space along with 96 townhomes, 600 condos, and 1,360 apartments, along with hotel, office, and retail offerings.
