Calling all artists!

In Logan Circle, there is a construction project that is inviting creative types to contribute to nine 6-foot-by-12-foot canvases that will be hung throughout the project’s development. The project is located at 1101 Q Street NW at the new luxury condo project, known as 11Q, developed by D.C.-based firm Madison Investments.

In a statement, Barry Madani, principal and founder of Madison Investments, said, “Instead of competing with street art in the neighborhood, we opted to share the space with them ... The result has been very positive.”

According to a release, Madani is considering auctioning off the panels for a local charity, which has yet to be named.

Once complete, 11Q will offer 15 residences, including one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and a penthouse. The units will feature private outdoor terraces and balconies. The location is within walking distance to a Whole Foods Market, Le Diplomate, and the Shaw Metro station.

There are currently no renderings available to show what 11Q’s residences will look like when complete.
