Georgetown townhome where JFK met Jackie asks $1.7M

It was in May 1951 at this Georgetown townhome where John F. Kennedy met his soon-to-be wife Jackie. UrbanTurf now reports that the property is now up for grabs, listed for $1,725,000 with three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.

Spanning nearly 2,000 square feet, this residence was constructed in 1895 and was later combined with an adjacent house in 1956. Still, there are period details that remain inside, such as the restored hardwood floors. There is a separate dining room beside the kitchen, which features stainless steel appliances and tile flooring.

The home that Jackie briefly lived in after JFK’s assassination is in the same neighborhood, last sold in May 2017 for $6.5 million.
