In Ivy City, retail is booming with a new Nike store, Mom’s Organic Market, and Planet Fitness opened within the last few years. Now, D.C.-based Douglas Development is planning on bringing a Target to the neighborhood with an opening by the fall of 2020.

The Ivy City Target would be located at the corner of New York Avenue NE and 16th Street NE in a 67,000-square-foot space, according to Bisnow.

Meanwhile, in Cleveland Park, there are plans for another Target as well, this one spanning 24,700 square feet. This location will replace a Petco in the Sam’s Park & Shop strip shopping center at 3505 Connecticut Avenue NW. This location is set to open by the spring of 2019.

Other future Target stores set to open in the D.C. area are in Ballston and Rosslyn, Virginia, as well as Bethesda and College Park, Maryland.
