Falls Church hotel sells for $62M, plans for upgraded guestrooms

The hotel’s common areas will also be renovated

The Westin Tysons Corner has sold to a joint venture of Miami-based Sefira Capital, Driftwood Acquisitions and Development, and Merrimac Ventures for $62 million, as reported by Washington Business Journal. The 1976-built hotel, located at 7801 Leesburg Pike in Falls Church, Virginia, offers 407 guestrooms across 11 levels. Amenities include a fitness center, meeting space, retail, and indoor pool.

Washington Business Journal further reports that plans for the hotel involve upgrading the guestrooms and common areas. The last renovation that occurred to the development was in 2016. It last sold in 2015 for $44.4 million.
