As part of Scotts Run in Tysons, Virginia, an 8 million-square-foot project planned near McLean station, there are plans for an upscale hotel by development and management company LodgeWorks. According to the Washington Business Journal, LodgeWorks’s portfolio includes Hampton Inn, Hyatt House, and Hyatt Place.

The hotel will have approximately 178 keys and will be the seventh location of the boutique Archer Hotel brand. The developer behind Scotts Run, Cityline Partners, sold part of the site to LodgeWorks for an undisclosed price. The plan is to formalize the deal by the end of this year.

In an interview with Washington Business Journal, Cityline Managing Partner Donna Shafer said, “They [LodgeWorks] are keenly focused on the pedestrian experience and how Archer becomes a community gathering spot, so it will be very engaging for the people coming right off the Metro station.”
