Navy Yard apartment building overlooking Nationals Park delivers, leasing begins

With clear views of Nationals Park from its rooftop, the Class A apartment building, known as 1221 Van has just finished construction with leasing begun. The 13-story project offers a total of 291 units, varying from one-bedrooms to two-bedrooms to two-bedrooms with a den. To live in this contemporary building, designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects, it will cost a pretty penny. Rents range from $1,725 per month to $10,50 per month with month-to-month leasing options available.

In the residential units, there are stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and islands in the kitchens, while in the bathrooms there are spa-inspired baths with porcelain tile tubs, showers, and floors. Every unit is pet-friendly and with a washer and dryer.

On amenities, there are a wide range of options to enjoy. Along with a rooftop that offers 360-degree views of the city, there is also an infinity pool, fitness center, and wet bar and lounge. Residents can also find help from a full-service concierge.

The building’s interiors were conceptualized and designed by Cecconi Simone of Toronto, Canada. The location is at 1221 Van Street SE.
