After years of delays, a mixed-use project at Congress Heights may soon move forward.
As reported by Bisnow, the first phase of the $120 million project by CityPartners will feature a 215-unit apartment building with retail. Following phases will entail a 280,000-square-foot office building.
Groundbreaking is estimated around May of 2019 with a delivery by 2021. The location is next to the Congress Heights Metro station at Alabama Avenue SE and 13th Street SE.
Originally, the project was headed by both CityPartners and infamous landlord Sanford Capital, but the former developer has cut ties with the latter.
