Alan Faneca is a retired NFL player who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New York Jets, and Arizona Cardinals. He’s also the current owner of this McLean, Virginia, home, which recently listed for $5.5 million.

When Faneca bought the home in 2014, he purchased it for $4 million, according to Washington Business Journal. What may have appealed him to the two-story brick house is its nearly 9,000 square feet of space, three fireplaces, and various luxurious amenities. Some of these amenities include a wine cellar, home theater, and pool and pool house with a guest suite. There is also a game room, gym, three-car garage, and an outdoor kitchen area with a fire pit and heat lamps.

According to the listing, the home uses reclaimed wood from the original Spring Hill farms. There are a total of seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and three half bathrooms inside. Some of the design highlights include tray, beamed, vaulted, and coffered ceilings.

The listing agent is Mark McFadden of Washington Fine Properties.
