At the first Women’s March on Washington, the color, pink, seemed to bloom across the National Mall with an estimated half a million people marching for an amalgamation of principles, from women’s rights to LGBTQIA rights to immigrant rights. This year, more than 10,000 marched in the District, making their voices heard through chants, signs, and even a drum line.
