Another Trader Joe’s is on its way to Washington, D.C., this time in Glover Park. UrbanTurf reported that Trader Joe’s filled a liquor license application for The Glover House, located at 2101 Wisconsin Avenue NW. The site formerly housed a Holiday Inn, which closed in 2015.
Chevy Chase-based developer JGB SMITH plans on redeveloping the site with a 225-unit mixed-use project with 20,000 square feet of retail. The residential units will range from studios to four-bedrooms.
There are no reports of when the delivery is slated for this project.
