It’s possible that there may be homebuyers who aren’t too familiar with architect Robert Gurney’s works, but after taking a glimpse through the listing photos of this Logan Circle penthouse, they’ll certainly want to know more.

Robert Gurney totally renovated this two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit, located at Logan Circle’s The Metropole. It features a floating fireplace, sky-high floor-to-ceiling windows, and a very spacious kitchen with an island. The entire unit spans 2,800 square feet with a terrace that spans over 900 square feet. Three parking spaces in the building’s garage come with this unit.

The penthouse last sold for $1.45 million in December 2010 and is now on the market for $3.95 million.

The property offers a close location to a Whole Foods Market, Le Diplomate, and the Dupont Circle Metro station. In the 90-unit building, there are a variety of amenities homebuyers will most likely enjoy as well, such as a fitness center, spa, and concierge services. The building is also pet-friendly.

Robert Gurney is known for his modern, meticulously detailed residential and commercial projects (the best of which can be seen in this Curbed DC article). His office has won over 270 local, regional, and national design awards, while also being featured in magazines, books, periodicals, and a monograph.
