Spanning across two buildings, there is a brand new 296-unit apartment development on the southern edge of Brookland with amenities like a dog park and an on-site bike shop.

The development, known as Brookland Press, is located near the Rhode Island Avenue Metro station at 806 Channing Place NE. It is comprised of a four-story industrial building that was once home to a printing press and a newly constructed, six-story building designed by GTM Architects. Connecting the two buildings is a terminal with a walkway and fitness center inside. On top of the structure is a rooftop pool.

The units range from studios to one- and two-bedroom units with full-size, in-unit washers and dryers in each of them. According to Bisnow, the majority of the units offer balconies.

Prices start at $1,795 per month with square footage that ranges from as low as 377 square feet to as high as 1,121 square feet.

When it comes to the amenities, there is still a lot more to get excited for. For those who prefer to relax outside, there are two landscaped courtyards and an outdoor movie screen. Those who like to be active can also enjoy a bocce court and yoga studio. There is also a business center, cybercafe, and pet spa and grooming station.

The developer behind the project is Douglas Development, the same developer behind the Hecht Warehouse redevelopment and the Uline Arena redevelopment.
