Definitely an improvement

Over the course of four months, this Capitol Hill townhome has been totally transformed from the inside out.

When it was purchased in January 2017 for $500,000, it was a foreclosure that had to be gutted and reframed with new electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. The floor plan was opened to make it appear more spacious, while the kitchen was completely updated with custom cabinetry, marble countertops, and stainless steel appliances.

The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom property is now up for grabs for $867,000. The listing spans a total of 1,620 square feet. Off street parking is also offered along with the home.

The listing agent is Navid Sakhi of Fairfax Realty of Tysons.
