Spanning 8,000 square feet, this Kalorama townhome has a lot to offer from the inside out. Washington Business Journal reported that the five-story listing offers a total of six offices as well as a home gym, rooftop hot tub, and an indoor pool. It recently completed a three-year renovation and is now on the market for $5.2 million.

Currently, the home is used as an orthodontist’s office. There are six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms inside as well as marble fireplaces and crown molding. There are five parking spaces included, two in a garage and three in a driveway.

Along with original touches maintained inside, the property also comes with a bit of a history. Washington Business Journal reported:

“The man responsible for capturing and deporting suspected anarchists during the Red Scare of 1919-1920, Attorney General A. Mitchell Palmer, was the original owner of this R Street property. If etiquette is more your speed, the original [Gladstone Williams], spent some of her life here, too [and operated an etiquette school out of the building].”

The location is only a block from The Phillips Collection and a short walk from the Dupont Circle Metro station. The listing agents are Jennie McDonnell and Jameson Freeman of W.C. & A.N. Miller Realtors.
