There are plans to construct a 22-story apartment building in Crystal City, Virginia. As reported by ARLnow, the project, located at 2351 Jefferson Davis Highway, will offer 302 apartments over an existing two-story retail space that currently houses California Tortilla, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Mezeh Mediterranean Grill.

The new 270-foot-tall building will feature over 330,000 square feet of floor space with 242 parking spaces for residents. In a nearby office building, an existing garage will offer an additional 100 spaces for retail customers, according to ARLnow.

The retailers currently at the site are expected to remain. There are also plans for a new Capital Bikeshare station and for the eastbound lanes of 23rd Street South to be reconfigured with one lane removed.

The Arlington County Board will vote on these plans on July 15. The developer behind the project is Lowe Enterprises.
