Construction is underway in Glover Park for a brand new mixed-use development that will bring residential and retail space to the neighborhood. The project, known as The Glover House, will be located at 2101 Wisconsin Avenue NW in a former Holiday Inn that closed in 2015.

Washington Business Journal reported that part of the existing structure will be reused, while an addition will be constructed in order to fit 226 apartments and two-level townhouse apartments in the eight-story building. There will also be 15,000 square feet of food-focused retail, a portion of which will be used for a specialty grocer.

Some of the amenities that will come with the residential space includes private terraces, two lounges, a rooftop pool, and below-grade parking. Over 50 percent of the residential units will have two, three, or four bedrooms.

The delivery for The Glover House is expected by mid-2019, reported Washington Business Journal.
