By 2021, Ballston will get a brand new Target. ARLnow reported that the 41,500-square-foot store will be located at the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and N. Glebe Road. Currently, Target has a “small-format store” in Rosslyn, which opened in 2015.

The location in Ballston is only three blocks away from the nearest Metro station. When opened, the Target will come with 40 dedicated parking spaces.

In a statement, Del. Patrick Hope said, “I’m delighted to welcome Target’s expansion into the Ballston area of Arlington. Target has broken the mold with its retail stores specifically tailored to the uniqueness of the neighborhood. The addition of more grocery options and a quick pick-up services is the right fit for the Ballston neighborhood, and I can’t wait for their grand opening.”
