Around 9 p.m. on Monday, a D.C. artist projected anti-Trump messages on the Trump International Hotel for approximately 15 minutes.
Messages included the entire text of the Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution, “Pay Trump bribes here,” and “Experts agree: Trump is a pig.”
It was only up for about 15 minutes, but now it’s been immortalized in photos, tweets, and a variety of news organizations. The mastermind behind the project is Robin Bell of Bell Visuals, according to CityLab.
Along with this legal incident, Bell is also known for having projected poop emojis onto the side of a Subway restaurant in Washington, D.C. as well as other images on landmarks in Texas, Tennessee, and Indiana.
