The project will need approval from the Historic Preservation Review Board and the Board of Zoning Adjustment

At 2312 18th Street NW, there are plans to convert an alleyway garage in Adams Morgan into office space. UrbanTurf reported that local creative agency Maga Design hopes to expand the firm into the space by 2018.

The garage has been used as an art restoration shop and storage. With hopes to preserve the facade and existing window and entrance openings, Maga Design plans on replacing the roof with skylights and a terrace with a glass guardrail.

UrbanTurf further reported that Maga Design will need zoning relief in order to add an eight-foot-tall story to the top of the structure. Before any construction can start, the firm will need approval from the Historic Preservation Review Board and the Board of Zoning Adjustment.
