NoMa is expected to get a new park, half of which will be for dogs and half of which will be for children with a jungle gym-like structure included. Greater Greater Washington reported that the park will be located at the corner of Third and L streets NE.

The plot of land spans 8,000 square feet. Once the park opens, a group of area residents, known as Friends of NoMa Dogs, will be responsible for keeping the dog park clean.

Greater Greater Washington further reported that construction could begin in August with an opening by the end of October or early November.
