Massive Palisades mansion chops price once again, asks $8.1M

Sunroom, pool, and more included

This rather massive single-family home in Washington, D.C.’s Palisades neighborhood has relisted for those with heavy wallets and a taste for formal, fancy spaces.

The listing first landed on the market in March 2012 for $16,125,000. In 2012, it was the second most expensive home on the market before later dropping to seventh place in 2014. By that point, it was on the market for $10,497,000. Over the past few years, it has been relisted every so often before finally receiving its most recent price chop, dropping it to $8.1 million.

The custom-built mansion spans over 14,000 square feet and was constructed in 2004. It offers a landscaped botanical garden and outdoor pool as well as a rooftop deck, and sunroom.

There are a total of seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms in the residence. Other need-to-know amenities include a sauna, gym, coffered ceilings, and stainless steel appliances.
