For the first time, a Hilton Curio Collection hotel is set to make its debut in the nation’s capital. This new hotel, known as The Darcy, is expected to open its doors on April 24 at Scott Circle.

The location at 1515 Rhode Island Avenue NW is only a couple blocks away from a Whole Foods Market, Le Diplomate, and only half a mile away from the Dupont Circle Metro station and the White House.

There will be a total of 226 guest rooms in the hotel along with design highlights like distressed metals and rich wood tones. Designer Chris Schnyder of Beleco Designs is behind the interiors of the hotel, with its rose themes and state portrait-inspired artwork.

To make the guest experience more unique, the hotel has partnered with local businesses like Urban Stems to provide a bi-monthly flower shop pop-up. The Darcy has also partnered with Green Hat Gin and Element Shrub to provide a cocktail cart that guests can summon to their rooms in order to create custom cocktails and mocktails.

For guests who may need to borrow items like ties and cufflinks, the hotel partnered with Men’s suiting company Read Wall. With local stylist Mario Rojas, guests will also be provided an on-call personal shopper.

Finally, for families that visit the hotel with children, there will be a program, called Darcy’s Kids, that will feature custom-designed coloring books with local landmarks, themed activity backpacks, and a “Gear Shop” with loaner high-end strollers. In certain suites, there will also be an ice-cream truck tent.
