Ben Carson, the Trump administration's new Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, recently closed on a single-family home in Vienna, Virginia, as reported by Washingtonian. The price for the five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom home was $1.22 million.

Zillow notes that the elegant, 6,380-square-foot single-family home has many upgrades throughout, including the roof, HVAC system, and custom bathrooms. In the foyer, there is a swinging staircase, decorative columns, and what looks like marble flooring. Other highlights include a butler’s closet, finished lower level with an in-law suite, and a three-car garage. There’s also a two-story great room with a wet bar.

The listing first went on the market in June 2016 for $1,324,000. It last sold in June 2012 for $1.3 million.
