In the fall of 2016, a family-owned, D.C.-based real estate firm, known as The Rubin Group, completed the restoration and conversion of a 119-year-old Capitol Hill church into luxury condominiums. The development, known as The Sanctuary, features 30 units, each with its own unique floor plan, exposed brick walls, and cast-iron columns.

In this two-bedroom, three-bathroom residence, there are sky high ceilings as well as a monumental Gothic revival window with leaded glass panes. There is hardwood flooring throughout. In the kitchen, there are stainless steel appliances and gas cooking. The entire condo spans 2,315 square feet. The price: $1,599,900.
