Another co-working space has opened in Washington, D.C., this time in Capitol Hill’s Hine School development. This is The Yard’s third space outside of New York and the twelfth location to date, according to a press release.

Spanning 31,480 square feet, this new collaborative workspace is expected to eventually house up to 440 entrepreneurs and creatives. Members will have a ton of amenities to choose from, from the development’s fitness center to its executive boardrooms to its stellar rooftop views.

Other amenities worth knowing include complimentary conference room hours, spacious lounges, fully-stocked kitchens, and discounts to business resources and local restaurants.

Memberships start at $350 per month with dedicated desks starting at $495 per month and offices starting at $650 per month.

Since The Yard was established in New York in 2011, the company has expanded to three cities and raised $15 million through Israel Discount Bank of New York (IDB Bank). This is in addition to the $30 million raised in various fundings.

The company also has an art program that offers a quarterly rotation of local art exhibits. In the D.C. space, The Yard will offer works by Thierry Guillemin and Deborah Coburn, curated by Studio Gallery, the longest running artist-owned gallery in the District.
