A bland, beige office building next to the Crystal City Metro station will get a paint job that is sure to create a new new landmark in Arlington, Virginia. As first reported by ARLnow, Vornado will paint the 12-story, 1975-constructed building at 251 18th Street S. a bold red color in order to add vibrancy to the neighborhood.
This new move joins other efforts by the Crystal City Business Improvement District that have included projects like Artomatic, Art Underground, and murals that have been installed throughout the neighborhood for the past 10 years or so.
