One of LeDroit Parks’ earliest built single-family homes is on the market for $1,795,000. According to the listing, this historic property was one of the first detached homes built in the LeDroit Park neighborhood, dating all the way back to 1883. Despite the long age, it looks pretty fab on the inside, thanks to its upgraded bathrooms and well-renovated kitchen.

The kitchen might have some of the most surprising design features in the home. There is a tin ceiling as well as an island and a nearby window seat. Throughout the home, there are wood-framed doors and windows and the occasional stained glass window.

Across the building’s 4,300 square feet, there are six bedrooms, four and half bathrooms, and a lower-level in-law suite. For homebuyers with cars, there is also a two-car garage included.

The listing agents are Loic Pritchett and Kelly Williams of TTR Sotheby’s International Realty.
