Once again, Wegmans is expanding, this time to southern Loudoun County, Virginia. Already, there are two Wegmans in Loudoun County, one in Dulles and one in the Village at Leesburg.
According to Washington Business Journal, a new Wegmans will be located in the planned Arcola Center, a 400-acre, mixed-use project with approximately 500,000 square feet of retail, a 2.1 million-square-foot data center, and over 1,100 residential units.
Currently, there is no set timeline for construction on Wegmans, but Washington Business Journal reports that one of the Arcola Center supervisors said that it is expected to open “at least two years” after the Chantilly store at Route 28 and Westfields Boulevard opens next summer.
